The Art of Surviving 3rd Annual Exhibition will be hosted on October 26, 2007, from 7 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. at Art Works. This is a benefit show organized by myself to provide a forum for women artists whose lives have been touched by breast cancer, mastectomies or other breast health issues. The show exhibits in October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Also invited is the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation to educate the community. My show of “A Reconstructed Life”, the battle of losing one’s breasts through the process of reconstructed breasts, will also be displayed. Artwork from several other artists, who are survivors, will be displayed.

If you are a survivor of any breast health problem and are interested in displaying artwork in this show, please contact me.

My artwork is also displayed in my smaller studio at Crossroads Art Center at 2016 Staples Mill Road in Richmond, as well as the new John Tyler Community College campus in Petersburg.

Meet with me in my studio the 4th Friday of every month at Art Works, Inc., Studio 125, from 7 - 9 p.m. At the same time you can enjoy the monthly juried show in the main gallery with food, music and fun as well as all of the artists in their studios.

Art Works is located on 320 Hull Street in Richmond.
